i really need a job, im struggling so much, i live in los angeles and i need money desperatlyy for my daughter and my rent, i wil do anything, clean , do your laundry , anything, please help!
Hi, I'm Alexandra and I'm 20 year old working college student in San Jose, Ca. I was in a car accident this past sunday, February 19th in Los Angeles while on vacation. I just bought my car all by myself a month ago and thought I succeeded another milestone in life. I have full coverage on my 2006 Honda Accord but my insurance company decided to triple my deductible (not my rate) from $1000 to $3000 so I would basically be paying for my own repairs and medical bills (I have a sprained neck, back, and wrist but luckily I have health insurance). My insurance company left me stranded in the middle of a Los Angeles street with my crashed car. They wouldnt even tow my car back home or to where I was staying. I know it doesnt sound right and I already have filed a case against the insurance company about that with the California Dept of Insurance and with 7 on your side (the news station). I'm basically scrambling to find a mechanics shop to fix my car for a reasonable price since I do not have $3000 upfront. If you dont know how far San Jose is from Los Angeles, that is about an 8 hour drive. I have no way of getting to school or work and sadly I have contemplated quitting school to work a second job which was totally against everything I believe. I dont want to have to end my college career due to this. I honestly do not have anywhere or anyone else to turn to for help. This is basically my last call for help and will be making a decision soon about what to do. I'm only asking for $1500 out of a total of $4500 because I honestly feel bad for having to ask but I would really appreciate the help. Thank you.

Money for rent

Posted by deadman on 2012-01-24 00:58:26

I am dying of cancer(stage 4 prostate cancer that has spread to my bones). The doctors have told me I could die as soon as December of 2012.The treatment I have been getting for a year(chemical castration) has stopped working as normally happens. My PSA is starting to go up again. The doctors will only be able to give me palliative care-drugs for pain and then chemo and radiation only to relieve severe bone pain.I am 58 and have been staying at a homeless shelter for five months now, waiting for these people to help me get housing. The environment here is not good for somebody with my health problems.Because it is a mixed shelter, the noise level is constant and very high from screaming and crying kids and their mothers yelling at them.Also.because I am not a veteran,I feel my case is being put on the back burner because there is a big push to get all the veterans on the street housed because of all the federal money coming to the shelters for that purpose.Don't get me wrong-the vets have earned priority because of their sacrifices.I would just like to get enough rent money to spend my last months in a more peaceful place.By the way,I probably got the prostate cancer from being exposed to cadmium every working day in my first job in California from 1973 to 1976.I am in the Los Angeles area.

unemployed senior citizen volunteer needs help with car repairs

I have always help my family friends and strangers in need of a place to stay, food, ride, money clothes ect. Well due to a move, divorce from an abuser and surgery, I thought things were looking up when I got my career moving for a non profit senior resident center, then after a year offered a great position in management for a nursing home but this is a rural community and I did my job well. Due to the economic environment I was let go and my old job already replaced me. Im on unemployment. If I can move to a bigger city, like near los angeles (I have a free place to stay) then I will never be without a job. Currently I volunteer my time with hospice and driving seniors to their doctor appts and errands. My car is old but paid for I need auto repairs in the amount of 2,000; dental work 800; Relocation expenses to move to California 6000; and a job masters degree in healthcare in san fernado valley California I have a paypal account or you can send the money directly to the vendors in kind to me. My dad is a retired veteran from Vietnam era, he works for above minimum wage and I live with him currently. He gets his retirement too but he needs a new fence for his house, I helped with all thee renovations but being unemployed I can offer the labor but the materials are about $2500.00 or $4500 installed he would never ask for a handout but he also needs extensive dental work and replace his implants front teeth from 40 years ago from accident his smile means everything to me. With that said once im able to get back on my feet and return to work, I will be able to help others too! Thankyou for any assistance you can provide in these matters .

help for unknown disease

Posted by beautiful-evolution on 2011-12-25 11:58:35

Gratitude to all who are on this site!
In 2009 doctors and many others witnessed tiny fluorescent white little puff balls, I call them (They are actually rice grain shaped), emerging spontaneously from my skin by the hundreds, maybe thousands. I have been ill most of my life on and off, for at least 15 years with migraines 25 or more out of 30 days much of spring through fall. When the disease(es) is/are fully active, it is sheer unending torture...
Mild examples are that I got stung by a bee, and was relieved to see it was bee, not the disease..the other day for about 5 minutes, it felt like I had a pinl sticking into my back, antibiotic final stopped it.the itching, stinging, is unreal, intense . I have kept it subdued through alternative cures a.d mixes after anti fungal with antibiotic, yet it still persists, and spring and summer heat make it overactive.
It seems to come with this rustcolored mold that is now everywhere in the little camper I am living in. This rust colored mold also grows kn and in me, creating ...well, ill leave out all the gorey detsils..My family helped me to buy this new, in hopes living in good clean air would help. We looked at the mold under a microscope, and like the fibers that come out ogle, it is fibrous, not mold- like
To add to this, we looked at a slide I made of the fiber in 2009, and one of the fibers turned into a slug like thing while in storage on the microscope, and there is this strange black ink- like looking circle around it all.
my doctors are at a loss, as they don't know of any test to identify this. The fibers just came back as unidentified plant material. It is strange to see them emerge..it just blips right out of the skin in less than a second.
because my camper is now covered in this, no matter how much I clean, every rain the camper gets covered.
Whatever this organism had done to my body, I itch, well all the time. it gets worse when I touch people or old books, I cannot sit on fabric, I have to bring plastic with me wherever I go..
Even my bed is covered in plastic
This organism fights other organisms, even acidophilus!
This and my severe migraines led to finally sucumbing to the acceptance of needing help, which came immediately through disability.o
My goal now is to identify this organism(or group of organisms. I have to get the camper de- termed. I am so sensitive, even staying in people's homes is out of the question now.
I basically require a simple box,ee batbroomand kitchen with no carpete amper drapes, furnishings, unless all 3, etc. And living in Los Angeles, only h budget, the camper is the best solution right now. Help getting me out of this camper, help paying the cost of a company that will remove the mold/ organism, and help with paying for tests to identify this are needed most any experts in any of these areas, I guess if you donate a penny and leave your contact information through PayPal, I would be so grateful!
i' m seeing the infectious disease doctor in January...again though, they don't test, it seems for what I have
So my requests.
if there are any mycologists,, geneticists, mold remediation specialists, (to get my camper less toxic)
And any funds to send out samples to be tested (one place, parasite testing.com calls this neurocutaneous syndrome..and may be able to identify.. it just a swab test is $120!)
And I need to get myself into a place that is healthy for me...eventually it will either be a new camper or studio rented somewhere. For now, until get the mold out of this camper, I will not sell it.
So this is a tidbit of my story...I was a healer, then got too sick! I now channel some of that into healing art
Any help is appreciated! I am much toover- sensitive for any direct healing, I do appreciate intent/prayers out to the grater energy, beyond even consciousness that we are all a part of. I must reflect back any direct energy channeled through, and specifically deny permission for this( learned the hard way)
Thank you for taking the time to read this, for being at this site in the first place
May the world bring to you all you truly feel in your heart right for you!
Namaste
Laura
PS. My computer has been down, and writing this on a cell phone. Much as i tried to go back, I could not correct the typos!

Hi everyone. I am a 35 year-old single mother of a 14-month-old baby girl and she is the light of my life. When I found out I was pregnant my boyfriend left me and has been in hiding ever since. Child support has not happened yet, as they are STILL trying to verify his wages. They say he is collecting unemployment now.

I work, doing a couple of different freelance jobs, but lately work has been very slow. I couldn't pay rent October first and am being evicted. My landlord is being very strict, and trying to make an example out of me because they are trying to get a modification for the loan on the building to keep it out of foreclosure. My car is $260 away from being completely paid off and the collectors call every day.

I start a new, steady job on Nov. 1 but until I start getting paid I'm barely scraping by. I get $300 a month in food stamps temporarily but no cash aid because they say my $500 a month in unemployment benefits disqualifies me. How they figure that much is enough for a mother and child in Los Angeles is beyond me. I have no one to borrow money from, and no where to go when they force me to leave. All of my family is on the east coast and they are all broke too. I'm not even a month past due with my rent, and if I have the money by the time I go to court (whenever that is) the judge will probably let me pay it and keep the eviction off my record.

So I owe them $1495. If I could pay it, I would be able to put in my 30 days' notice and actually get my security deposit back after I leave.

Maybe you have this extra money to help someone in need, or maybe you have an apartment you could rent out to us when we do leave. I would feel very depressed and unsafe living in Section 8 housing.

I'm trying so hard. If you can help at all it would be an answer to my prayers. You can meet us and see that our situation is true if you would like also. And maybe I can pay you back and/or offer services like babysitting, tutoring, balloon twisting, face painting, etc. We can talk more on the phone.

Thank you for at least reading this and sending positive thoughts my way...

$2300 Needed for rent & to get to job in Los Angeles -- stuck!

Posted by needtogetthere on 2011-06-21 00:58:23

Hello, I'm stuck in Las Vegas and I have a job waiting in Los Angeles. I'm running out of money and am paying weekly rent trying to figure out how I can:

1) Buy food
2) Continue to pay rent here until I move back
3) Pay movers to move my things
4) Pay rent in Los Angeles until my first check comes (I've found a weekly rental already)

As a single young woman in Vegas it's very dangerous asking anyone for help here. I'm from Los Angeles but have no one to help me get back home. I don't know anyone in Vegas and it's not a good time to try to find a friend here.

I will need at least $2300 (weekly rent, then first & last for permanent rental plus movers and food for a few weeks).

Please send whatever you can afford to my Paypal address ($1, $5 etc). I have a Paypal debit card and can access funds from the ATM. Thanks and hopefully I won't offend anyone by saying God bless you for helping me.

I'm a young, female, African American college graduate who strongly desires to attend law school, become an attorney and support diversity initiatives within the Legal industry on the West Coast. I have little resources, as I am caring for an ill family member. I have enormous student loan debt from my undergraduate institution, but I am in relentless pursuit of even higher education because I want to set an example for inner-city youth in Los Angeles. With a legal education, I aim to become successful so that I may give back as soon as I am able. There are tons of minorities who need legitimate examples of success, and I feel a calling to be this example for my youth peers. Please donate whatever you can afford, and I will be happy to further discuss my ambitions. Know that any dollar you contribute will enrich not only my own life, but the lives of other young hopefuls and revolutionize a struggling community. Thank you for your time!

Help us Provide for Needy Families

Hello,
I am writing to you to find out if there is a person who can help us with a very real problem. The Institute for
Maximum Human Potential is a nonprofit 501c 3 tax deductible organization located in South Los Angeles.
Our mission is through a collective effort to enhance the well-being of individuals, families, and neighborhoods by addressing human rights issues in our community.

We are hosting a networking event to raise money to purchase materials for families to assist their bonding and attachment. By increasing their bonding and attachment, evidence shows that we can decrease child abuse for these families. To make this happen, we are sponsoring an event on March 24, 2011. We are looking for a person to provide appetizers/crudites for this event and also for anyone who may be interested in attending the event. Information regarding this event can be found at http://dvinejazz.eventbrite.com

Standed In Germany

Hello, I am stranded in Munich, Germany and need a one way ticket home back to Los Angeles to be safe. If there is anyone out there that will kindly book a ticket for me asap would save my life. Thank you all.
My girlfriend and I have been working hard for five years both as workers and as a couple. I moved from Los Angeles to the bay area to be closer to my family and because I had a shoe-in job with the energy sector in San Francisco as an electrician. The job fell through, then the economy collapsed. Now I barely make ends meet doing side jobs and labor. I have hustled for jobs and nothing has panned out. I sold anything that was worth money online and scraped together enough money to keep the lights and gas on. At this point I have exhausted all my money and resources. I have two possible jobs lined up for February, but I need a miracle to make it this month. My girlfriend wants to get married, she just needs me to prove I can provide for her. I need to come up with $1300 somehow...
Any help would be met with extreme appreciation.
Thank you.

In need of urgent help... please just read me

Hi, I am a 23 year old singer/songwriter. I have been saving for years to make my move to Los Angeles. I mean every penny that wasn't spent on keeping a roof over my head and my utilities running, went straight into the fund for my future. This opportunity meant more to me than anything and making it happen on my own made it even more special. I have been very determined for a very long time. After about 2 and a half years of heavy budgeting and saving,I managed to save about $11,000, which for a waitress is a very difficult financial goal to obtain. On the afternoon of July 13, 2010, I drove to my local bank and withdrew the majority of my savings to then drive straight to a nation wide bank and deposit my savings since my bank isn't in California. I was very nervous having this large sum of cash on my person. I stopped off at the store for a brief moment to grab some quick necessities. Before I got out of my car, I put the money in my glove box, locked it, locked all my doors and double checked them one last time. My reason for keeping it secured in the car, was because I didn't want to chance anything bad happening with that amount of cash on me because some people will do horrible things to a person for that amount of money. Especially to a small female. I thought that was the safest thing to do for myself. I'm inside for no more than 10 minutes, and when I returned my car had been broken into and the money was gone. I called the police and they told me there is virtually no chance of them getting my money back to me. In devastation and desperation, I ask you if you are in any financial position to donate literally anything, I would have an indescribable amount of gratitude and relief. Thank you so so very much for reading my story.

Hopeful,

Jenn

When I turned thirty years old, I realized that I want to live a laid-back lifestyle like my father's family in American Samoa. I sent most of my belongings to Samoa with my father before getting laid off from my job. I was barely getting by on my Unemployment Insurance and now I'm cut off not having found a job. I'm posting here to ask for help for my son. He recently lost his job at a non-profit organization due to lack of funding, and with the economy is having extreme financial difficulties because he can't find another job.

He is about to lose his home, car, and probably everything else he owns. He doesn't have access to the Internet either because he lost his services. I'm providing his phone service for him, otherwise he would not have any communications at all.

He lives 250 miles away, and so without transportation can't even stay with us for a while.

Donations of money will help get him on his feet, and job offers in the the Los Angeles county area will be greatly appreciated.

God bless you all, especially those in similar circumstances.
