Hello, my family needs help! Like most of the people here we are struggling. We are in debt trying to make it with twin baby girls. We just need someone to find it in their heart to send some relief. We are hard working, average americans just trying to get by. I am not asking for a certain amount because at this point anything will help us out.

3 kids and scared

Posted by stayinpositive on 2012-03-30 19:58:13

Hi I am a mother and a wife going through an extreme financial crisis with my family. I know this is odd to put on here, and I can't even believe I'm doing this. I am begging and pleading to please deposit a dollar in my paypal account. My husband was working, and he quit to go to another job that seemed great. It was 4 more dollars an hour, the hours were great ect. When he was supposed to start, the "new" job told him, there was no work lined up. Needless to say he was very angry. But he just put on his happy face and kept moving forward. He can't go back to his other job, as they already filled the position. What baffles me, is that this "new" job is the one who called him and said when are you ready to start, we have work lined up. We were so excited, because he waited for like a month and a half to see if he was going to be hired or not. What happened was this new place didn't get the contract they thought they were going to get. They should of never called him unless they were positive they had this contract. If they would of waited, my husband would still have a job.I would hope this wouldn't happen to any of you. This all happened two weeks ago, today... actually. Ever since he was told there was "no work" lined up, he has been up and out everyday looking for a job. Putting applications in online, and setting up interviews. If you have a job, consider yourself very lucky. No matter what, your job is not that bad. At least if you have one, if you do. We have 3 children, and I am scared to death. We have passed due bills, the mortgage, etc. I can get more detailed if you request. He was supposed to start last Monday, the 19th. We live pay check to pay check, not by choice. Unforeseen circumstances put us in the situation that we are in. My husband had, and still has medical problems, and neither of us have health insurance, as many of us Americans don't. He was on disability for a few years, and he requested to be taken off of it, so he could work. He also is not any better, but he took that time to get all his surgeries, that did nothing, except make it worse. Prescriptions are expensive, we have to pick and choose what prescription medications we are going to be able to get. I'm not going to elaborate any further, but if would like to know the whole story, you can email me. I will also provide what evidence I can, so you know that this is not a made up story. I want to thank each and every person, that just took the time to read this, even if you can't help. I know a lot of us have fallen on hard times, I just ask if you could please donate to us, or ask someone that could. If you are able to donate please email, and I will give the email for paypal. I just ask for a dollar, in hopes several people will be able to help us. It's a very scary situation to be in. I hope by reading this, you know in your heart that I am being honest. Please consider a donation to us. I thank you all and have a Blessed night.

I need to pay these loans

Posted by Spyke on 2012-03-22 22:58:57

I have roughly 100,000 in student debt. I graduated with a 3.8, and I have been systematically denied employment post graduation. The system is broken, and i need you to help me get out from under it so that I can get on with my life. Any amount is helpful. Do something positive for this country and aid me. It benefits nobody to let students languish in debt and bad credit. 50000 would rid me of the private loans that I needed to make tuition above the federally available funding. I never spent a dime of it on housing or food; it all went to school and books. My husband and I could get on with our life, start a family, pay our taxes, and pay for health insurance. It's a no-brainer. Your help will directly benefit the very people that will carry this country forward. It's a civic duty to insure that the youth of this country are allowed to succeed; not be crushed under debt. We have the skills, you have the capital. Grant us the capital and we will show you the continuation of this fabulous country into the next century. You know we are capable. Stop holding us back. If you can't give me a job, give me the funding to continue in the only way Americans really operate: to work hard for a living wage to make this country better. Stop wage slavery. Stop the inefficient use of resources caused by low wages granted to college graduates and the denial of jobs to the educated. Keeping the educated at the same wage as the less educated post education is a travesty of the modern culture; it will lead to revolution if it is not remedied. Start now, start by aiding one graduate. Start with me. With every dollar you spend in my name, helping me out of debt, I come closer to undoing the shackles of my bondage and rising to benefit this country. It's patrioic to give. This democracy was founded on moral people helping out others, not by degrading people who wished only to better themselves through education. We are all in this together. My paypal option sits at the bottom of this request. s.pyke@gmail.com. Give. Do it. For your country.

WANTED: People who have trouble paying their utility bill

Posted by Movie on 2012-01-11 19:58:38

Has your power been shut off? Do you qualify for utility assistance programs and still struggle to pay for your energy bill?

We are making an independent documentary about energy. One of the issues the documentary deals with is the rising cost of energy, and how those rising costs are making it difficult for people to pay their monthly energy bills.

We are looking for someone who has been struggling to pay their utility bills who would be interested in sharing their experience to put a face to this important issue that many Americans are dealing with today. In the wake of the economic downturn, rising energy costs were some of the leading factors that kept families from being able to pay their monthly bills.
I'M 57 years of age a wartime veteran who served the 6 year commitment honorable 1972-1976 plus w/2yrs reserve. Started work on a farm as boy in the late 50's. My parents like most Americans were rural working class poor. At 8 years of age I got a T.V. Guide route, then later a newspaper route. Worked while going through High School and have the Social security report to prove it.

Out of the past over 15 years in Florida more that 10 of those years have been incomeless unemployed! In my working career I have also started two small businesses plus have looked during this long period of no income to take a risk doing something. It has not happened and now I am broke. Also finding out that the number people needing jobs or income verses the opportunities needed have a huge gap of dispairity.

I live in Palm Bay/Melbourne Florida area if anyone can help in any way please contact me at mulabate@yahoo.com Thank you, Vietnam Vet

It's been very rough, like a lot of Americans, for me. My bills, which were perfectly manageable until I got laid off will go to collection soon. Rent money is almost non-existent. I am not claiming I have it the worst, far from it. Even a little something, anything, I would be very grateful. Before you ask, I have been looking for work for a very long time. I've tried, payed my dues, and ended up like this. Thanks for listening.

peace to you.

Please Help Our Family

My Wife and I are both disabled Americans. She has had a major back fusion and two knee replacements as well as some heart woes. I myself have just had my second major back surgery, I have an implantable Cardiac Defibrilator and one total knee replacement.
We are both on a very low income, myself on Social Security Disabilaty, she on School Employees Retirement Disabilaty benefits. We have a vehicle that is almost twenty years old and on its last legs.. I am certain you get many letters like this everyday but we really would like some kind of assistance. We would love to be able to move to Vermont where we can be near our children and Grandchildren as they grow and flourish into strong Americans ans be near our Parents as they live out thier golden years. I know we are asking a lot but if there is anything you can do to truly show your compassion , we will speak on every t.v. station, every radio station, make posters, whatever it takes. To show our thanks and support. We're begging you.
The state of Ohio in its infinite wisdom is considering stopping paying my Medicare part b and take away my medicaid because we, "make too much gross income" by the time we pay all our bills we have maybe 50.00 left to last an entire month.
My Wifes Information::::
I was Married to a very wonderful man for 31 years. He developed heart disease and diabetes. He fought valiently but finaly succomed to the medical problems. I became very sad and was almost at the brink of a mental breakdown. I did become involved with the local Greif Counseling service as this helped me to ease my burden a small amount. I began talking to this nice fellow on Pogo.com which is an online gaming site where one may play all sorts of games such as Solitare etc. We hit it off and began internet dating in August of 2008. We arranged to meet in November and upon viewing each other we knew the bond we had felt over the air was a real bond and Leo dropped to his knees and askeed me to Marry him. We married a week later in November of 2008 and have been together ever since. Since than we have both become quite medically burdened ourselves, Leo has a thing called Sudden Cardiac death Syndrome and has had to have had an Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrilator instaled recently. We both suffer from back woes and must seek care frequently. Now we do have a 1996 Chevy Blazer that runs when it feels like it, the airconditioner is broken and what with being in the Midwest is very hot to have to drive around with the windows down. A computer part that costs 1500.00 for the A.B.S. system is out and we just can not afford to fix it. We love the vehicle as it was my first ever fully owned vehicle from a bank loan in my life. If We appreciate everything we have and are greatful for both this site and for all the kindness of others. Please vote for us and we shall make certain to pay it forward with our own kindness and see to it that others are blessed as we are. Thank you for reading and for helping out anyway you can.
My Information::::
My Wife and I will be Married for three years on November 28th.We met in late July or early August of 2008. She had just lost her husband of 31 years. I was myself looking for a somewhat different lifestyle than I was in currently. I was living at home at over 40, disabled with a moderate spinal disease and more or less going nowhere. Debbie and I hit it off right away and we were engaged in October and Married in November. We each have been each others rock and best friend and companion. I have since went into the Ministry and have undertaken many courses towards helping others to live as good a life as possible. Debbie is a great personal loss counselor in her own right. I recently became a heart patient and have had to have an Automatic Implantable cardiac defibrilator installed in my upper chest which has a built in pace maker. All this at only the age of 49.Debbie has had to have undergone major back surgery herself and have screws and cages ut into her lower back. This makes us totaly disabled yet we both have a teriffic outlook on life and are always willing to help others. Life is what you make it, not a series of bad events that bring you down. We both appreciate each day given unto us and are so greatful for all our friends, family, and fellow searchers of lifes Grace. If we were chosen to receive a New SUV as we live in snowy Ohio and may move to new England to be closer to some family we would make certain that it was put to good use and everyone would know the generosity of others. I can only hope as this as well as the other stories here on this site may touch you a small amount and you shall favor us with kindness. God Bless Everyone. Thank You All. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and supporters here. We appreciate everything people are doing and sending all the wonderful messages. God Bless You all.

Tropically ever after

Hello. We are newlyweds and it has been our dream for some time now to move to Costa Rica and open up a restaurant. Weve been planning on making our move within the next 6 months but unexpected moves and expenses have prevented us from being able to save like we planned. I'm still dead set on leaving as soon as possible, and its breaking my heart to think we could have to postpone. But Costa Ricans are very welcoming to Americans, especially those bringing in new businesses, and with our restaurant experience we know we will do well. We just need help with the financing to make our dream come true! Any help is appreciated, and we would also consider any offers to invest. Thank you for your time! Email: deeds678@yahoo.com

Unemployed Army Veteran Needs Money Angel Immediately!

Posted by ArmyGirl on 2011-10-17 15:58:55

Oh wow, where do I start; it's so painful. I need financial help like yesterday. I'm an Army veteran with 11 years active duty, 17 yrs total active service. I trained National Guard soldiers for Iraq, Bosnia, Kosovo and Afghanistan from 2004-2011 during Operation Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom. I've recently fallen on hard times and I'm about to lose my home. Was in the Reserves and haven't found permanent work yet since honorable discharge from active duty back into Reserves. I have filed for bankruptcy but it hasn't been discharged yet. I'm 20% disabled from injuries while serving on active duty and I'm diabetic. My disability check isn't a lot but the Veteran's Administration is taking money out of my disability pay for medication and copay visits.

I'm still hopeful though that someone can help me save my home, I need about $13,000.00 and it is nearing foreclosure. I don't wanna lose my home just because jobs are low paying in this area. I'm unemployed and don't have permanent full time employment. This situation hurts my heart. It's hard to ask for help when I'm so used to being the strong and independent one. Please help me if you can. Even a $1.00, $5.00 will help. My car was repossessed a year ago but I got it back due to filing bankruptcy. As of 15 Oct, I have -$38.47 in my bank. When my debt is paid down, I will pay it forward and help someone in need! Thank you for your caring hearts! I'm believing in a miracle!!

P.S. I'm not somebody fake from somewhere overseas like India or Africa hustling or scamming Americans for money.
To Whom It May Concern:

I will be walking on behalf of the AIDS Run & Walk Chicago on Saturday, October 1, 2011. I am choosing to walk to raise money to help people impacted by this disease. There have been more than 450,000 Americans die from this disease and over a million more are living with HIV.

South Side Help Center (SSHC) has for over the past twenty years been a strong proponent and advocate for HIV/AIDS prevention and education, particularly in the Black community. Therefore, I am personally requesting your help through donations and/or participation in AIDS Run & Walk Chicago 2011.

Through the AIDS Walk, your contribution will help to continue our deep commitment to serve the greater south side of Chicago with programs and services that are needed to increase the chances for a better quality of life for our disadvantaged youth, adults and families and HIV/AIDS clients.

Thanking you in advance for your kind support that helps to make the meaningful difference that enables SSHC to work towards achieving its goals.

Divorced Iraqi Freedom Veteran and Drowning in Debt

Posted by 207618 on 2011-09-14 07:58:46

I am recently divorced. As part of the divorce agreement I agreed to assume the vast majority of our marital debt. My ex has residential custody of our four children and therefore I pay her child support which equates to 40% of my net pay. On top of that I was ordered to pay her $1000 a month in maintenance for the next four years. Depending on how much overtime I get in a month, I currently give my ex between 60 and 75% of my take home pay. My monthly minimum credit card payments are $540. Some months after I pay my wife, credit cards, and car insurance. I don't even have the money to cover the bare necessities in life for myself. I am forced to rely on the good nature of my family. I am not capable of providing for myself and have not had much luck in finding a second job.

My current amount of credit card debt that I have assumed is $18,000. I do not want to file bankruptcy as I always want to honor my debts. I also don't like asking for charity. However I am a charitable person and have always given when someone is in need. I am turning to the good nature of my fellow Americans and asking for help. Please, anything you can offer will be greatly appreciated. When I can pay it forward I certainly will.

Trying to get home

Posted by scoutlee on 2011-08-08 12:58:06

Hello,
First of all let me begin to say that I am not a begging person. This is killing me to do this, but I have no other options right now but to ask for ANY donations from fellow Canadians/Americans.
My Name is Sean Coutlee and my wife's name is Penny Coutlee, I am 44 and she is 46 years old. We were married June 7th of 2010 in Hamilton Ontario Canada and my wife has been up here with me now for 17 months since we have been married. She is originally from Alabama and we both want to get home to her parents ( which I have still yet to meet ) who live in Falkville, Alabama. My wife draws Social Security Disability through the states which is barely over $600 per month and right now I am in between jobs making what I can to make ends meet. Funds for both of us to take the 1400 miles trip to go to Alabama is well beyond what we can afford. and I am asking anyone who has a heart to please make any donation to help me get my wife back home to Alabama to see her parents and also get the medical treatment my wife is overdue for since she is a Diabetic and has Diabetes Neuropathy. My wife speaks to them on the phone when she can, but her heart aches to want see them in person, hold them and know that she is once home again, because she really doesn't know how long her parents will be around. I am enclosing my personal information for those of you who wish to contact me since this is very much all legitimate.

Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

Hello great people,

Please help donate $4.00 less than a McDonalds happy meal. If we get 100 people to donate then we can get our central A/C fixed and save our two dogs, two cats, and two children, wife and guinea pig from melting in the 100 plus Texas heat inside our house. I have never had to ask for help from fellow Americans before. We greatly appreciate any amount that you can donate. Our family will pay if forward within the community and on begslist in the next 60 days. Thanks and God bless.

How Generous Can Americans Be?

Posted by snakegod77 on 2011-06-24 20:58:28

Here's the deal. I work my butt off and my wife stays home with the kids. She works part time nights and weekends. We try to keep them involved in activites but its really hard with lack of time and money.

Well i decided to see how generous we Americans really are and just ask for some cash. I kinda figured since i see some people ask for money on street corners i could just give it a shot on the internet. I use Paypal and can accept any donations there. My email is snakemanx7@yahoo.com.

I really want to be straight forward and to the point. So if you have any questions, please ask!

Charlie Sheen, will you give me your one day allowance for drugs/women?

Posted by MountainSeeker on 2011-04-21 15:58:25

Hello Charlie,

I'm an out of work teacher here in California taking care of my family. While looking for any kind of legal employment I've burned through my life savings, my 401k and now I'm facing the reality of being a homeless family. I have a MS in Education (Honors) and have worked hard all my adult life. Like many Americans I'm facing the abyss of being older (38) and jobless with no prospects and a $100k student loan.

I've never begged before but here it is.

Would you be willing to forgo one day's allowance of drugs and women to help my family eat and live for a month?

We don't know each other but I bet it would be good for the both of us. My family gets to eat and and have a roof over our head for a month and perhaps in time your will have the clarity to see the precious gift that you have been given.

If not, I wish you the best.

Fondly,
A Teacher in California

Dearest readers I write these few short line and come before you all humbly to ask for your assistance, as you all know the situation in our country and around the world is not the best it’s ever been and many Americans like myself are unemployed, My situation is a little different from mainstream Americas yes my house is up for foreclosure, we have next to nothing in our savings but besides all that the most important thing in our lives right now is our 21 month old son Ian.
Ian was born with severe renal failure for him that means that as soon as there is a compatible donor he will undergo surgery for my wife Gina who is also unemployed and take care of Ian dialysis on a daily basis and for myself it’s a constant worry will we have a secure place or roof over our heads when our baby receives his transplant will we have enough to make ends meet and so on.
I know you guys probably receive tons of mail asking for hand me out but trust me writing this letter was not easy and my family as well as I will be forever grateful for any assistance you can offer us.

Please Help my Mom

Posted by donald7_44 on 2011-03-24 19:58:54

My mom is going into the hospital to have surgery to fix her artery's. They are 90% plugged up. She is the only reason our family is still together. We are in the process of trying to become Americans and have no money after spending our entire lives savings to lawyers.

I am a student who can only work on campus so my funding to help my mom is very limited. I can only work 20 hours a week but can only get to school to work for 1 hour a week, due to having no vehicle.

I have checked with the local churches, and family members and friends no one has anymore money to give. However we are still $30,000 too short.

Please help me.

I will also thank you for donating.

We have a 21 month old baby w/cronic renal failure.

NATIVE AMERICAN IN NEED TO GET TO SPIRITUAL CEREMONY

I HAVE A SPECIAL FRIEND WHO IS A MEMBER OF THE SIOUX TRIBE FROM SOUTH DAKOTA. HE HAS BEEN STUDYING WITH CEREMONIAL LEADERS FOR SEVERAL YEARS TO HELP KEEP THE NATIVE AMERICAN TRADITIONS AND CEREMONIES A PART OF TODAYS BELIEFS. THERE IS A SUNDANCE CEREMONY IN ARIZONA WHERE NATIVE AMERICANS COME TOGETHER TO PRAY AND DANCE FOR WORLD PEACE. THIS IS A SEVEN DAY RITUAL AND IT IS GOING TO COST HIM QUITE A BIT OF MONEY FOR TRAVEL TO GET THERE AND THE THINGS HE WILL NEED TO SURVIVE THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IN JUNE(TENT, WATER COOLER, ETC.) HE IS ON DISABILITY AND HAS DIABETES SO THIS TRIP WILL NOT BE EASY, BUT GETTING THERE AND PARTICIPATING IN THE CEREMONY MEANS EVERYTHING TO HIM. ANYTHING YOU CAN DONATE TO HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. PLEASE HELP

Needy needs free help

Posted by lmatson on 2010-11-04 14:58:58

I am not the needy in far-away Africa or India. I am the needy of America and I need help right away.

My name is Levi and I have turned to asking for donations on the Internet as a last resort. I have lost my income, have no savings at all, no property, no assets, vehicle, etc. I have a mental disability which has hindered me from keeping / finding jobs. My combination of Asperger's Syndrome, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and ADHD have had a potent effect on my ability to keep a job, resulting in my being dismissed from around 3 dozen jobs in the 12 years that I have been working. I am applying for social security disability benefits and IF I qualify (which I will probably not), then it will be 4-5 more months until I start to receive benefits. I do not want my body to be found laying in a ditch somewhere so please give me the money I need to pay my bills for at least these several months.

I'm 31, live in Lynnwood and this is my first time posting to ask for money. But now without any income or people to ask for help, worst case scenario is that I will die on the streets. Next best scenario is that I will lose everything and get a bunk in a homeless shelter. But I have been quite happy to have my own apartment and my own furniture for the first time in my life. I don't want to lose everything I have worked so hard for, plus living in a shelter will make it next to impossible to find a job, on top of my pre-existing conditions.

I don't want material objects like your couch, sofa, TV, CDs, bicycle, bikes, etc. I just need a donation from a kind-hearted person who believes in helping those in need. God says to help your neighbor and that no good deed goes unnoticed. I believe in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness but without my life the others would be impossible. Please show me that Americans are indeed the most giving people in the world and give me this much needed stepping stone.

I can show you a copy of my bank statement or my tax return showing I only earned $8,000 in 2009, or you can call me directly so you know I am for real. You can donate to me by Paypal email:mthehonest@yahoo.com or you can even meet me in person if you don't trust that I am who I say I am. Thank you and may God bless you, from Levi.
