I'm a single parent, who fleed from domestic violence- having to quickly store my furniture and children items in florida. I've been making payments up till now, I'm not currently working although I'm deligiantley looking. I have not make my payment of 165.00 per mth for april and may and now june is approaching quickly. I don't like the word beg but I guess that is what it is. My pride is high and I hate asking for help but I don't know what else to do. I saw something on TV and decided to try this. Here goes!
I am a 39 year old with 3 children and a disabled husband. I have a lot of issues right now that I am trying to deal with and keep my family off the streets. I don't mind sharing my story if need be because honesty is the best policy. My husbands SSI is very low, as if he has not really worked and he is over 50. I have been trying to keep my head up and keep my bills paid. I work but my job is a PRN position because it was all I could get. I was making a fairly good pay until they decided our department needed cut backs and cut our hourly pay almost three dollars. I am trying so hard to finish school to be a LPN and then a RN. I have been trying to finish school since 1992. I know that if I can get my degree, I can provide for my family. So, I have bills up my butt and school is hard. Now, I am dealing with losing my financial aid because though I have a high enough GPA, my other cumulative average is below standard. I knew nothing about that. I was focusing on making sure my grades were good enough. My 14 year old daughter is pregnant and I can't even afford to begin buying baby things or think of how to save for it. My husband is so content with his little check until nothing else matters. My oldest daughter is in college with me trying to get her LPN but her hearts desire is to be an OB/GYN but they changed the required score level for the SAT and ACT and she registered one quarter to late to get in. Had she registered earlier, she could have gotten in the school she wants to attend but now she has to go to a local college and earn credits and then transfer, IF her grades are good enough. ON top of all that, my husband was just hit in the rear by another driver and our car was totaled and he was hurt. So, my only car, of which I was paying on still, is gone and I owe to much on it for the insurance to pay it off.
I feel overwhelmed, depressed and like I will never make it. I am working, attending school, and trying to write a book and do a gospel CD. Anything to try and bring in money to support my family. I really don't know what else to do.
I don't know if this works or not, but I am willing to try. I have felt so bad until at times I wanted to just end it all but I know that is not the example I want for my children. I want to see my grand daughter born and I want my children to finish school and do better than me, but also see me come out of my struggle. I keep telling them I am going to buy the house we live in, they keep laughing and even with that, the land lord is talking about putting it on the market because I can't come up with what I need to even start buying. I pray that God blesses my household and family. If someone does decide that my issues are worth helping, then I pray God bless you with an overflow for your blessing me. I don't know what else to say but thank you in advance. As embarrassed as I am, I can only pray this is real. If not, at least I got to vent and get it all of my chest. I had no one else to tell anyway.

I need prayer and help.
All was well just a year ago. I had a good paying job, a beginning side business, and a blessed life. I left my job to move 2000 miles so my wife and I could care for her mother. I used my savings to rent a home for us and paid months in advance to cover us while I looked for work.
I have been unable to find work, my mother-in-law passed, my wife was diagnosed with cancer and we no longer had good health coverage, and my savings ran out. My small side business can only provide enough to cover the basics and since there is nothing left over, it cannot grow. We are 3-4 months behind our bills and all are getting impatient. The medical care my wife needs is about to end if I can’t make a payment in the next few days.
I am a disabled veteran of Desert Storm and am limited with some of the work I can find. It has been a struggle to try to stay positive and hopeful this past year. The same banks offering loans when times were good are denying any assistance now that times are bad. I pray daily for a change.
As I started in this letter, I need prayer and help.
I know God hears me and has a plan for me and even in our circumstances, I never doubt His love for me. I just need more voices to reach out and let Him know I need Him more than ever at this moment.

My mother is on mental disability. I try to help her all I can, but I'm having the hardest time finding employment, due to no GED. We are barely getting by, but what we do have, the good LORD has provided. I'm very desperate to have my GED to have a job and help my Mom out with her bills. The Ged test cost $100 but anything at all will help. GodBless all of you who have helped others on this site. I know this my sound weird to you or it may come across as a scam, I
wouldn't blame you for feeling like that after reading my letter
because if I was in your shoes, I would also feel the same.

I am in a desperate financial situation, January this year I lost my
job due to retrenchment . I have 2 unemployed sisters , we sharing 2
bedroom flat together with my single mother who is also unemployed.
Losing my job has made things very difficult in the family since I was
the only bread winner, I am unable to support them financially ,let
alone keeping up with my rent which I am also 2 months behind. Being
the only man in the house , I decided to take an initiative to seek
financial help from anybody who is willing to learn a helping hand.

I cannot give you an exact figure on how much I need since I don't
know how long it will take for me to get myself a new job so that I
can provide for my family.

In essence , what I am asking from you is to help me with my family
with money to pay for my rent for a few months in advance and buy
enough groceries to last us for some time.

If I am unable to raise the money , my family will continue sleeping
with empty stomachs and it may lead to us  being evicted from the flat
due to none rental payment and we will end up on the street.

I will really appreciate it if you can consider learning a helping
hand , I will also understand if you unable to help.

I was laid off from my job a couple years ago in that time frame I was collecting unemployment and return back to school. In the midst of everything I separated from my live in boyfriend at the time and found myself in a jam. I seek help frm social service for housing and everything was going according to plan, I found a location who agreed to take me in with state assistance rent. I moved in with the landlord permission and assumption that she would be paid accordingly;however, because I was finally blesse with a reliable job the state ended up not persuing what was said and never paid the landlord... When the landlord advise me of this I immediately seeked answers. Social service said basically I have a job. Could pay and so I did, Ive paid my rent every month but now landlord wants to evict me for the amount owed from social service I've done everything possible to work something out with the landlord and nothing. I have no place to go and I am a single mother and can't afford in one sum what the landlord is seeking, Im asking for any financial assistance, donation ANYTHING to come up with the amount of $3,500 ASAP... Single mother of 2, 6 and 7 months and pregnant while unemployed. I am currently living with my mother along with her boyfriend, my brother and 2 children in a small 2 bedroom apartment. I have applied for government assistance but have not been approved because of stupid mistakes I have made in the past, also makes it hard to find a job but I will not stop trying, even though I am currently pregnant and high risk because of already being threatened with a miscarriage. I am a 25 year old who is married with a daughter. My family has hit a difficult spot where we cant pay our bill. My husband has lost his job now for 3 months. We live in a studio appartment and would really like to be able to move into a two bedroom house, so our dauhter could have her own room. Hello, my name is James, im 26 have 3 children, and working hard to get no where in this economy, Paying the bills and everything else leaves my family with a little money to spend at the end of the week, unfortunatly not enough to take us away on a holiday.
My children have not left the state and i myself have not been on a holiday for a decent 8 years, my 8 year old son would like to go to the gold coast so that is our ambition, but just finding it hard to keep the funds there, as it is we save up and than an unexpected bill comes in and half of it is gone, I guess im asking if anyone out there could please make a donation to help me take my kids and myself on a holiday.

I am a single mother of one 7yr old that is more than a gift!! I had to step down from college for a little while when I got pregnant to earn money. I cant afford it as long as im trying to save my home. I have went through health issues, lost my job, depression, struggles and a lot of spirit breaking situations, but surprisingly im still standing and fighting! This house was the only house that I have ever known as well as my son. I bought the house from my parents when they were going through a divorce that forced the hand of them selling the house so in an effort to save my best memories and something thats been in the family since '82 I took the responsibility. I've been trying to fight against the odds my whole life so in my last effort against defeat I've came here to try and save my home!! I have court on Thursday to find out how much time I have before they completely forclose, but if anybody and I mean anybody out there can help please!!!! Every dollar counts because I have no where to turn and I need approximately $10,000 to save my home!! I dont know how much fight I have left in me and im trying to keep strong in front of my son since we have nowhere to go or no help!!
