Posted by mjc102853 on 2012-05-14 14:58:40

Please help me I am in a really bad spot. In 2006 husband died..we owned an internet cafe. In 2007 I closed cafe & started looking for another IT job...no luck even for data entry or help desk (still looking but am told I don't have current skills & no money to get update/education). Tried to sell off all store stock & in 2009 Ebay/Craig's list sales became slim. Cashed in bonds/savings acts/401k/stocks to make ends meet. Eventually in 2010 no more corners to take from & part-time jobs just not meeting all obligations. Now son-in-law in AZ has health problems & daughter+2 grandaughters need help desperately. He had gall bladder removed a year ago & he is one of a few that cannot easily live without it...having really tough time with digestion & weight loss. No time to sell everything. WILL DONATE ALL NON-PERSONAL ITEMS TO CHARITY(s) OF YOUR CHOICE. ONLY WANT TO KEEP LIVING ROOM FURNITURE, 2 DRESSERS, CARD/TRAY TABLES & PERSONAL CLOTHES/KITCHEN/FAMILY ITEMS & COMPUTER. Help Send my Daughter to College

Posted by loisryan on 2012-05-09 09:58:29

My daughter is going to college in the fall to study veterinarian science. She will be attending SUNY Delhi. The cost for the tuition is approximately $20,000. After getting college loans and financial aid of $500 (unbelievable) we have to pay $6,000 out of pocket for the rest of the costs. We can't get any more loans because we are at our limit. Here is how you can help. I have published a book on amazon kindle. It is a fantasy novel geared for teens/young adults. This is the link: http://www.amazon.com/The-White-Knight-ebook/dp/B0055RYV62/ref=sr_1_6?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1336572831&sr=1-6 I am only selling it for $2.99. For every purchase, my daughter will be $1.00 closer to college.

If you do not have a kindle, you can read it for free here http://www.feedbooks.com/userbook/23318/the-white-knight

All I am asking is if you do read it, please make a small donation to my paypal account.

If you are unable to make any sort of donation, I understand. The economy is not the greatest. But if you read my book and write a review on the kindle site, it will help draw in other buyers.

Any help is appreciated. Even if this does not work, I can get the money out of my 401K. However, I am 46 years old and if I do this, I will not have much money in there to retire. This is something I should have started earlier in life. Therefore, I only have about 12,000 in there right now.

Would love help getting to 2012 Olympic games to watch my son

Posted by judomom on 2012-05-03 19:58:40

I wouldn’t normally do this but I so want to go see me son compete in the 2012 London Olympics in the sport of Judo. My son will be given tickets to his event for us watch him compete. But neither his sister, my mother nor I have the money for airfare and hotel. I live on a very small pension and SSDI, which isn’t very much. I live with my mom helping here out since my dad passed away last year and she as well does not have much money either. I have no credit cards and had to file bankruptcy due to the lack of unable to work because of me disabilities and the state finally put me on SSDI and that isn’t that much. My son has been doing judo since he was 7yr old. When he took his 1st Junior National Championship at the age of 8 in Hilo, he came off the plane and told me we was going to go to the Olympic. He never lost that goal. He is now going for the 2nd time around. . Back in 2004 due to layoff and my job being outsourced I ended taking a earlier retirement. My son headed off to college with a partial scholarship in judo. I helped support him in rent, phones, car, insurance, as well as airfare to travel to many international tournaments to help him qualify for a spot on the 2008 Olympic team. I even went back to work using almost all of my funds including my saving and 401k’etc just to get him to the level that he needed to be at and because of that I was unable to go to China in 2008 when he went to his 1st Olympic games because I spent it all getting him there. Then in 2009 I got laid off because the job was being outsource but when I tired finding work I was unable to and the state finally tested me and told me because of my disability that I could no longer work and then put me on SSDI. So if your willing to help that would be a blessing but if you not I understand.

One day at a time

Hello my name is Richard and I hurt my lower back at the gym. I was married and have 2 sons and I also had a house. Now after 4 years on Disability I am just getting by. 4 years ago I had to have a 3 level back fusion surgery, so I went into Boston to have it done and within months I knew something was wrong. So I went to PT and did what I was told after the about 9 months the Doctor said that the fusion was not healing so he had to go back in again. So this is number 2-3 level fusion surgery and when I got out of the Hospital I find out that my wife of 19 years was leaving me, so we go to court with the attorneys and get a Divorce and I lost my house and 2 sons, I had to move. At that time I had a nice house in Mass. So I just packed up what I had and moved to NH where I live now. Now as time went by my back was stilling doing no better, so I went to PT and then my Disability kicked in thank god because I had gone through my 401K by then just to keep a roof over my head and as luck would have it my back feel apart in other areas, so the Doctor said he needed to go in and fix it all now. So I had my 3-3 level back fusion in 3 years, so I went to PT were I hurt my knee and they had to do a total replacement, I asked myself when will this stop and I have thought about taking my own life. I went into some counseling and here it is 4 years later and my back has falling apart again, so I have to see the Doctor this month. It just sucks when you live in so much pain every day and people that have never hurt their backs have no Idea. So I am happy that I found this site because I cannot go out to the center of Manchester with a cup asking for any extra change. The Disability income only pays for about have my bills, just enough for a roof over my head. Then I have all the different medications that are not cheap, sometimes I fall into the Donut hole and cannot afford the medication so I ask my Doctor for any sample and he said they do not give out samples to the meds I have to take. So that is about it for me and my ex wife, well she married her boss who is a Dentist and they were having an affair for years. The other thing is I have tried to fine working from home jobs, like Data entry jobs but they all want you to pay something up front, which I never have so live goes on ONE DAY AT A TIME.

Swallowing my pride and asking for help.

Hello my name is Mel and I am in emergency need of financial assistance as I left my job to finish my college degree last year. All was going well as I am 27 years old and I have my own place, car, and am very independent. My boyfriend was living with me for free and he drained my funds including my 401K retirement account that it took me seven years to build. The intention was he was going to pay me back and find a job as he was fired last July. Unfortunately, he never even tried. I spent all of my money around Christmas time spoiling his three children in which I was not allowed to be a part of their lives. He left me two months ago for their mother who is abusive and I have never been in such a bad financial situation in my life. I have managed to sell some of my belongings to cover last months rent. I am now actively looking for full time work and may have to not finish my Bachelor's degree in Sociology and I only have one semester left at the University. It is my goal to stand strong on my own two feet and I will do everything in my power to come back up from this and not let it bring me down. Any and all donations will help me until I can find employment as the economy is so bad I cannot find a decent job in my trade of Accounting/Office Management in my area. The good thing is once you hit the ground there is only once place to go from there and that is back up. I have no where else to turn or I would not be posting this on here. I hope that you can help someone today after reading this because there truly are genuine people out there in the world they are not all scammers. I happen to be one of the realest people, that is how I got in this sticky situation. God Bless you all.

Anyone with money in the world, please help me keep my condo for my 2 year old who is just blossoming and learning to love life. If I can't pay my mortgage Pand we lose our home, I don't know what I will do with him. I love him so much. I lost my job and have been sick so I am having difficulties getting moving again. Please help me if you feel you can, because I may just be an angel in disguise, and if you help me the payoff would be good for you too. Injured nurse, mother of 3, unable to work

Posted by INJUREDRN on 2012-03-23 11:58:24

I spent my career taking care of sick and injured people working in intensive care..but i gave too much and permanently injured my back, and after having three levels of my spine fused, was told i could never return to the bedside..(and still need two levels of my neck fused) that was 15 months ago..i tried to get work comp & social security but was denied. I dont qualify for govt help because i withdrew my 401k to stay afloat. Im still looking for work but noone will hire "damaged goods"..i have drained all of my resources. I have 3 children, and had to send one to live with his dad because i couldnt manage when my 3year old's father left me after surgery. Unfortunately, i was desparate for medical care & married so i would have medical insurance. The man i married is abusive and treats me badly because i cant contribute financially. I need to get divorced and pay my bills until i can get social security (i appealed it) or a job that will pay for childcare & bills. There is no help available for injured medical workers, even though we spend our lives giving to the sick & injured & their families. PLEASE, if you can help me with a donation, please help me. Ive unselfishly given my life & donated when i was fruitful..now im the one who desparetely needs help..by the way, i AM a God fearing Christian, & believe that He put me in this position for a reason, . Im using the resources God has given me & believe He will not let me suffer more than i can handle..your generosity will help me to still contribute to society in some way & help us stand on our feet again. Thank you for reading.

Need money fast

Posted by Goingbust on 2012-03-11 03:58:12

I need to pay off a small loan so I can re-borrow. Recently my husband lost his job of nearly 20 years. We have been able to stay afloat, but now we have unforeseen expenses. I can borrow against my 401k if I can pay off previous loan. I tried to get a hardship disbursement but didn't qualify. I work a lot to keep us ahead. A new loan would give us a small amount to put aside for future problems. My health is now suffering due to constant worry.

American dream slipping away

In 2009 my wife injured her back resulting in surgery and permanent disability. Our income was cut in half. Ive been doing all i can to hold on, working extra jobs on top of my full time job, selling every thing we have a little at a time to try and pay the bills, robbed what little was left of my 401k with the hope that she could get on disability. But she hasnt and im getting to the point of loosing it all.So here i am my last resort. Im looking to raise some money to start a concession business on the side. This is a business i know and feel can be the life saver i need. If your fortunate enough to be able to help it would be greatly appreciated. If i get enough to get this started i will return to return the favor. Any amount is appreciated. Include your e-mail with your donation and if this gets started i will send you times and locations when ill be set up and coupons for free funnel cake or lemon shake ups. The bigger the donation the more coupons.

4 Person Family in Dire Need Of Help. PLEASE READ.

Posted by WinterNights on 2012-01-12 17:58:32

I have come across this site in hopes of people out there that can read this and hopefully assist my family with our financial emergencies; because there are many. I am a 26 year old male, and the only one who has a job right now in my family. I have a younger sister and younger brother. We live with our Mother in a small, cramped, decaying 2 bedroom apartment that can barely be suited for 2 individuals, let alone 4. Our Father has abandoned our family, this being several years ago. Since that time, and even before that time, we have been struggling with bills, rent payments, and utility expenses that are not included in our rent. After my Father left, the situation has gotten increasingly worse, with the term "living paycheck to paycheck" sounding like it would be a better life. We are living well below that standard, with the money I'm making barely covering rent payments; sometimes going into the next month. My bills are always 2-3 months behind, because I simply cannot pay them. My Mother's bills are even worse, some 4,5, even 6 months back. We simply do not have enough money to get back on track, and I feel that soon this battle may be lost if something goes wrong. If I lose my job or somehow become incapacitated; we are homeless, it's that simple. In total, truthfully my family needs close to $70,000.00 to get out of our financial crunch. This includes my bills, as well as my loan for my truck, being the only family vehicle and me as the only one who can drive. I have $12,000.00 left on that loan, and due to rent I cannot pay it. If I default(I have already received repossession letters), we are in serious trouble. My other bills, such as credit cards and loans against my 401K to pay for rent are roughly $15,000.00. Credit cards were maxed out to pay bills, and I could not make the payments back, that is why they are maxed out. My sister's student loans for college, which are approximately $30,000.00, my Mother's bills which are ALL behind, are close to $14,000.00, which are credit cards again for bills, and interest on those cards due for over the credit limit penalties. I beg any and everyone who is capable and able to donate to please do. This situation is not getting any better, and I fear the worse. With eviction threats, repossession letters, and certified mail coming with threatening legal actions being taken against us for being unable to pay these bills, stress would be an understatement. Rent is $1575 a month, not including utilities. With utilities, we pay over $2,000.00 a month, just to keep a roof over our heads and appliances for food working. PLEASE, we need help, desperately and immediately. I thank anyone who has read this in advance. Thank you so much, any contribution would really be a blessing.

Just been given a Writ and now only have 5 days

Posted by NeedyCouple on 2012-01-04 19:58:11

My girlfriend and I just received a Writ today from our landlords. And we have 5 days to come up with the back rent and late fees or we will be evicted.
We need a total of $3,700.00 to cover it completely. I do have a job, but my girlfriend does not. We were both out of work for 7 months, I depleted my 401k from my previous job trying to keep up, but now we are in deep trouble.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as a dollar here & there adds up. If anyone is able to help I will update this as it goes.

Thank you very much.
David

Professional Laid-Off

Hello, My name is Danny and I am married with two kids. On 8/31/2011 our world came crashing down when I was laid off as the Operations Manager for a major financial company in Dallas Texas. I am 35 years old and started with this company out of highschool and worked my way up. One week later my wife was laid off as her company filed Chapter 11, therefore she also lost her 401K. We are drowning, I dont know where else to turn. Since we were both in the mortgage servicing industry, there is nothing out there. We have both been on countless interviews; however no offers. We have even attempted to take lower position but we are told we are over qualified. We need money, My unemployment insurance has ran out, I have sold my car, were in foreclosure... This is hard to even say... We would have never thought we would be in this position. Please, if you have any extra money, I promise once back on our feet we will donate more than we have ever in the past. We figure we have 2 more months in our house and would like to have electricity, gas and at least one phone. Thanks.

Hi there, I recently lost my job just adding to the last 2 years of pure hell. I have 16 month old twins and we are facing eviction. I was unable to pay October rent and now its almost Nov. I have lost 2 family members over the last 2 years, along with another being dianosed with terminal cancer this year. My significant other has been trying for 2 years to renew her VISA/citizenship status and that has not happened yet. The cost for that is remarkably high. I have been able to provide for my family until now. This is not something I had ever thought I'd need to do but facing todays challenges I have no other options. I am patiently waiting to recieve a check from a 401k plan that is minimal but will help but even that has been a challenge. Well with all said I guess what I am asking for is any type of help, rent, food, utility bill help ....anything

Down on my luck

I am a single mother with sole custody of two fabulous teenage boys. I lost my job in April of 2011, since then we have been living on welfare. I have been unable to find a job, have had major surgery and can no longer pay bills. I have downsized my life to the extreme including selling of personal items just to make ends meet. I have cashed in all my 401K's and IRA's and have no other assets left to assist me to keep my kids fed and living in a house. Please help.

Losing home Please help

I wouldn't be here if it wasn't my last resort. Life has thrown me a curve ball I couldn't catch. My daughter and I have been living with my Grandmother since early 2010 when my wife abandoned us after being diagnosed with post par-tum depression and turning to a life of drugs a few months after giving birth to our beautiful Daughter. I wasn't able to pay the rent, utilities and daycare expenses on my own so my Grandmother being the loving woman that she was agreed to put a roof over our heads while I started attending a technical school to further my education and career so that one day soon I could get a better job and be able to afford things on my own. A few months into my schooling my Grandmother fell ill. She started having problems doing daily tasks and eventually was forced to retire early. Which left her with a small 401k and a feeble social security fixed monthly income. She no longer had the money to take care of us and the tables turned on us it was I that now had to care of her. In late 2010 she was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer and needed an oxygen concentrator to breathe properly. No longer able to do regular daily tasks we all take for granted. I had to put school on hold to stay home to care for her and my Daughter. My Grandmother wasn't to keen on going to a nursing home nor was I willing to put her in one when I was in a position to help her as she had done for me, we also could no longer afford daycare for my Daughter. A few months went by and we seemed to be getting along fine but, the doctors bills were piling up and we were forced to choose between the mortgage and continuing doctor care for my Grandmother. As the months passed my Grandmother continued to get weaker no matter how hard she tried to stay active by playing with or reading to her great granddaughter. In the beginning of March she could no longer get out of bed on her own. I had to carry her to and from the bathroom, cook and feed her all of her meals and generally keep her as comfortable and happy as she could be. At that time we were 4 months behind on the mortgage and struggling to keep the electricity that her life depended on, on. On June 8 2011 my grandmother passed away. She didn't have a large life insurance policy which only covered her burial and some of the doctors bills. She tried to leave me her house in her will but, probate court is trying to take it away from us because the house is going to be in foreclosure soon, we are now about to be 10 months behind, and her other reaming debt (doctors, credit cards...). So I am here today to ask for various kinds of help ranging from advice to money. I am not asking you to pay the entire debt and the house off but, for maybe enough to put my daughter back into daycare so I can find a job and hopefully save my house. In the almost 3 months since my grandmothers passing I have tried numerous ways of getting my daughter into daycare so I could find a job and be able to support my daughter and myself and possibly save the home my grandmother so graciously left to us but, to no avail.I am begging you for support. I need advise as to the best course of action to appeal to the probate court and save our home. I need the money to pay for daycare for my daughter which averages $100 a week. To pay off my grandmothers remaining debt which is close to $5,000. Pay for representation in probate court to appeal our case and to get caught up or pay off the house, we are now behind 6,751.16 on a total left of 33,514.81, and to get current on the utility bills which I have miraculously managed to keep on for the last 3 months by selling all of my worldly possessions. I am in a desperate situation and I'm begging for help. Like I said I don't expect to receive enough money to pay all of the debt but asking for enough to get my daughter back into daycare so I can try to save us. I hope you can find it in your hearts to help in whatever way possible. It would be greatly appreciated by my daughter and myself in this great time of need. I beg you for your prayers and generosity and Thank you for the time you took to read my story, Just writing it helped alleviate a little bit of stress. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Any advise is greatly appreciated and can be sent to zenkiawdsm@gmail.com. Thank you

Alot has gone on for me in the last year Two family members passed away, I got a divorce, got injured at work, then finally lost my job of twenty years.I've already used up my 401k and am now depleting what little money i have left in savings.I am mentally drained, the job market is horrible and with my permanent medical restrictions it's going to be very difficult to find anything worthwhile paywise.Plus i'd like my next job to mean something, by that i mean in a field that helps people like working with the elderly, etc.Problem is,i don't seem to have the qualifications that most of them seem to involve: nursing skills, of which i have none which means schooling and possible money for said programs.Right now i'm at a lost what to do next.I'm probably going to end up as a walmart greeter or pizza delivery guy or something along those lines the way things are going.I'm hoping for the best but for now i could use a little help in whatever you can spare.I can't believe i'm resorting to begging. As shameful as i feel doing this, any help is appreciated.

Almost Homeless, Already Hungry in Houston

My husband and I are lifelong radio personalities and producers. We have enjoyed a good life and always a good income. When the largest radio conglomerate in the nation fired (layoff my a$$) everyone over 40 we lost our jobs. Our 401K was the first to go. It fed us and we paid a premium to the IRS. Our savings account of 20,000 is long gone for rent, utilities, our internet bill so we can search & apply for jobs, and food. My husband has heart failure. He requires 10 medications a day. We couldn't pay our land line so this means the data can't be fed from his pacemaker to the cardiologist's office isn't being transmitted and has not been for over two months. We worked our way up. We scrimped and saved. Neither of us smoke, we don't use drugs, we do not drink, we do not waste money. I shopped for us at a Goodwill in the River Oaks area, the best clothes in town as far as resale goes; even when times were good. My unemployment pay of $800 monthly is gone 3 months now. His is $812 and our rent & utilities are combined; $725 monthly which is the least expensive we could find - is not paid almost 2 months as of August 1. We face being homeless very soon. Not a slice of bread in our house. We have sold our wedding bands and every piece of jewelry we had. We've sold our furniture; the best pieces. We are down to nothing. The social service agencies are out of funds as so many are in the same position. If you can find it in your heart to help us, it would be a blessing as we pray without ceasing. We thank you in faith and divine hope. Thank you for reading our post and we'll hope for miracles.

I will provide professional audio editing and we both will provide voiceover work sent to you via e-mail on an mp3 file. We are working people and we are more than willing to work to earn any help for us.

Volunteer Fireman Needs Your Help

Hello. I am a volunteer Fireman with 5 years of service to my community. In the last six months, my wife was let go from her job of 10 years. We now rely on my income and benefits to keep us afloat. We have been struggling to maintain what we have. We have car payments, bills, mortgage, insurance, teenagers, etc. My wife has been on multiple interviews with no luck in 6 months. It is always the same in the end, "you really are overqualified for this position". We took out a loan on my 401k which has been used up; plus I had a retirement account from a previous employer that we also had to use. In a nutshell, our safety net is now gone. It amazes me that we went from having what we need to a stressful struggle to keep it. From this date forward, everything will fall behind. We have cut costs where possible, but it is a small measure against a rising tide that we cannot hold back. I am desperate for help and have swallowed my pride to make this move. I am not looking to get out of debt, just help to get us through until my wife can land a job. Can you help? Please? I have no monetary goal, anything that I post comes across sounding greedy and I don't want to leave that impression. They say desperate times call for desperate measures. My family needs help and we are hopeful that enough people will rally to our cause. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.

Help me pay my bills this month!

Posted by angelone on 2011-07-06 20:58:07

I am in desperate need of help! I have been unemployed for about 2 years now and I no longer receive unemployment. I was laid off due to the recession. I have gone through my 401k and all of my savings. I have been going on job interviews for months and months now and I feel I am very close to getting a job, but somehow these jobs keep eluding me. I know I will get a job any day now with God’s help! But until I get that job, I need money to pay my mortgage before my house goes into foreclosure. I will lose my house soon, and I worked very hard to get this house and I am very proud of my home. I am in serious desperate need of money to pay bills. I am very close to losing my home. My luck has not been very good lately and I feel I need a miracle to pull me out of this downward spiral. I have no health insurance and I have had an abscessed tooth for months now. I am 55 years old and have worked all my life and need help now. This is the worst it has ever been. If someone could donate 5000.00 I could get back on track with the bills and house payments. If you can donate ANYTHING at all it would really help. There is a donate button to send through PayPal...Please help me!!! God bless you!!!
