Need a Job Now

Im trying to raise money so I can go to Australia-no I dont want to go Australia for a Holiday, but so I can earn my own way. I am british and live in the UK, and even for a hard working graduate of two degrees, job prospects have been dismal here ;-( Whereas in Australia, prospects are really good. Even if I fail to land a professional job in Australia, Id be willing to do anything to earn a wage. I have everything planned to go to Australia-will require a work/holiday visa, etc-apart from the finances. But I stress I do not plan to travel whilst I am there, I just want to start working ASAP, earn some money and get myself out of debt.
Background on me: 26, single male, UK. I like to think Im a really, honest nice guy-even when I have a little money I tend to share it with people around me. I'd actually given up on life a month back, and was close to ending it on several occassions. But am trying to turn it round. I suffer from depression, which is a big obstacle at moment.

In the middle of the night allied financial came and took my car away, my house is next. I suppose this could fit into so many categories. I am was a private teacher forced to quit when I went weeks without being paid what I was owed. First I would like to thank all who have taken the time to read my post. Also, would like to express how hard and embarrassing this is for me. I have never asked for this type of help from anyone. I had to move back with my parents after having been divorced from my wife of 12 years. It’s really been hard on me because I gave up our car and house to my ex-wife and son who will be five Dec 31th. I figured it would be easier for me to start over because it was just me. My ex had full custody and wanted to make sure they both had a roof over their head and a car to meet her career and child care needs. The saddest and hardest part for me was that I could not afford to live on my own and keep my truck and the house for my ex to live in. I ended doing the right thing and surrendered my truck and moved back home with my parents.
I now been living in Gothenburg, Ne for over 2 years with my parents and I’m really having a hard time keeping a good job without getting laid off or your hours cut due to not enough demand for what we were making or services we provided. I live in a town of 3,500 so the jobs are slim and few by far between. I owe my parents a lot for letting me stay with them but I’m a grown man now and need to get out on my own.
It’s really been discouraging because I’ve been trying to get things together and money saved up so that I can be able to move back to South Carolina to be closer to my son. I have not seen him in over a year. I feel like the worst father in the world! There is no other place I rather be then closer to him or be able to find a job that can pay me a decent wage that would allow me to afford to fly out and see him as much as possible.
The bottom line is that since there are no jobs here I would like to relocate back to South Carolina and get back into my work field as Cable TV/ Collections/ Disconnections. Again thanks for reading my post even though how shameful I feel about it.

My name is Kacey and 2011 proved to be a bad year for me. I am a Freelance Media Consultant and was quite happy with what I was doing and achieved. Unfortunately due to severe stress (brought on by serious family situations and illness) I suffered a stroke the beginning of that year. I consider myself lucky because paralysis was only temporary and I'm back up and about walking around. I was only 44 years old when this happened and now registered with the hospital for the rest of my life. They even carried out a brain scan to make sure I didn't have a brain tumour. I was given the all clear with that. On top of that I also suffered a bout of colitis soon after. I've lived with the disease for ten years and manage it extremely well, I live with it and lead as happy and healthy life as I can. BUT it was the stroke that turned my life upside down and it has taken a while to get my head around it. I had no support from family but I thank goodness for close friends who have helped me through this health issue.

I now want to get back to my freelance work and during 2011 I continued helping out with a local community newspaper writing articles and taking photographs when I could. It was then I discovered that my hand writing had been affected by the stroke, but I'm getting there and my hand writing is getting better! I also found the quality of my photographs were also affected and not as good as before I had the stroke, they are not as clear and concise as they could be with a little digital camera I have. It has no anti shake. And yet my earlier photos are now attracting interest and people are now asking if I can be booked for taking photos for them. I'd love to do it and I'm just pleased that the community newspaper that I volunteer for have been supportive throughout. HOWEVER if I am going to add to my work experience and concentrate on my photography and writing I need to invest in some new photography equipment and a laptop to move onto new career challenges.

Effectively, after a year out I am starting out from the beginning again with being a Media Consultant and asking for help to achieve this. I have never asked for help before with my work, so hope that whoever is out there reading this can help towards achieving the camera equipment and laptop I need to progress into my photography sphere. I also plan to study at college a part-time photography course from September 2012. It'll last 3 years but it will be worth it and a qualification at the end of it. Just because I had a stroke does not mean the end. It just means adapting and getting the best out of life that I can. Anything is possible so don't write me off just yet!

I have worked my whole life, since 13 with the exception of when my children were young and home. Unfortunately I got very sick five years ago. Pain is the main thing stopping me from working, as no matter what position I get in, I only have a couple minutes before either pain or numbness starts. I worked thru the first two years then off and on since, cleaning, caring for elderly-no lifting etc, but elderly that need company, someone to be with them and be sure they don't walk away etc. Not to ne ignorant or egotistical, but I do have a good mind and an excellent work ethic. I can't stand not working but have no skills beyond physical work. If someone gave me a chance and taght me whatever they needed me to do I would be an asset to any company or family, I promise that. The only other thing stopping me is clothing, without working, I haven't shopped for clothes in five years, so if its office, I would need some direction into proper clothing.

Hello, I am a young college student who is struggling to stay in school financially and better my life. Growing up my family actually went down in class from working class to working poor. My old home was and still is in terrible shape. The loss of relatives and equaled loss of income sources, and the house just fell apart and turned into a hoarding house. As a child, I dreamed of having more and it was suggested that the way to upward mobility was through college. I chose to take this route, but I didn't realize how difficult it would be for a low income student to stay in school. If I don't get and opportunity to make some money while in school, then I can't finish.
I need a full-time 2nd or 3rd shift job, or I need part-time job where I am guaranteed at least 20 hours and $8.00 per hour. It is a struggle to stretch a financial aid refund check for literally 6 months to cover expenses during school and living when school is not in session. I need this job to be in Greensboro, NC. I am open to all job possibilities, but I need to not travel with this job. I have to just go to the job site, perform my task, and go home. I have many skills, but my best assets are my trainability and enthusiasm for learning. I also am resourceful and will adapt to whatever situation I am in.
