Help Paying Rent

Family of 4 I'm the only working.We are having hard time right now.Every day is struggling but the bigest problem is our home which we are renting.
We have rent arreas and in danger of eviction.
Please help us survive the winter in warm home not in the street.Obviously we don't have a money for another accomoddation.

I guess to begin I should say I'm not in a life or death situation but I really could use some help.

Since I graduated from university, studying music I have worked in customer service as there were not a lot of jobs available where I live, but I was laid off from my job 12 months ago and got behind with my rent by a couple of months, which landed me in £600 worth of debt on top of the debts I had accumulated as a student.

However I found a new job after a couple of months and everything seemed to be looking like it would work out but after a month of working there I had to take 2 days off sick and my new employer decided to terminate my employment. I went back to applying for jobs and selling my stuff to pawn shops to try and make ends meet, receiving benefits but although I could eat and keep a roof over my head I couldn't pay off my outstanding rent.

Then after a few months of looking for work I was helping my mum's friend out with some heavy lifting and helping with her garden work as she lives alone and ended up with a really bad inguinal hernia which left me incapacitated until I could get surgery, I had the surgery which fixed the problem but the surgeon advised me the hernia was a very large one and they had to make a 7 inch incision in order to be able to remove it which left me bedridden for a couple of weeks after.

Then the worst thing happened, I was offered an interview for my dream job a few days after my surgery, I explained my situation and told the employer how much I wanted this job but they said they were really sorry but they needed someone immediately and could not wait.

One of my friends told me about these websites where people help out people in bad money situations. So I guess I'm hoping someone can see fit to help me because I'm not doing too well resolving my problems alone.

My plan is to try and get as much of the £600 rent I owe so I can pay my rent off and re-locate as jobs are so scarce where I live.
I spoke to my landlord and asked if I could move out to re-locate and pay them back when I get a job but they said they're sorry but I need to pay up to date before I move out, so I'm stuck here with no job prospects, I can't just leave owing them this money and run away from the debt because I feel I am a moral and generally decent person and after the understanding and patience they have shown me in putting up with this situation for a year, running out on them would be a disgraceful thing to do to them.

i was fired on nov 14, 2011, and have been job hunting ever since. i actually have an interview tomorrow, but it will take at least 3 weeks to get a pay cheque.

Iam going through a tuff patch in my life, Soooo many bills to pay, im a student that got a credit card, I know I shouldnt of run it up £2000 but I brought stuff for my flat cause I rented a unfurnished one so had to buy everything in it! The company gave me a ''buy now pay later'' option and next month is the month i have to pay this off or the interest is going to be added to my account of £1200. I have part time job of working in a bar but it doesnt cover my uni work and my bills, rent ect. I also ow my landlord £600 which iam now getting letters threating to kick me out if its not paid. I am trying to save my home from foreclosure. I currently owe $3,000 in back mortgage and if this happens I have nowhere to go. I currently lives alone and I have no help, my only company are my cats that will have to be displaced. Im a young woman of 28 years old and this is my life story:

I was born and landed straight into hell, for as long as i can remember i have been beaten up, cut, burned and occasionly tied up and attempted to be drowned in a bathtub by the 2 people thats should love and care for u as a child; my parents...I was raped and abused by my own brother and suffering in silence. School was a safe place for me but after the teachers started to notice that i wasnt a normal happy kid my parent kept me home from school...In order for them to stay out of trouble they married me off at the age of 14 to a 36 yr old nephew. Since i never wanted that marriage they drugged and kidknapped me abroad to my birthland..

After 8 months of utter misery my grandfather helped me get my divorce and to get my passport back so that i could return to The Netherlands.

When i got back to The Netherlands i finally turned 18 and wanted to try and get my life together but the past haunted me so bad i couldnt see straight so i sufferd a heart attack in 2004 at the age of 21 or 22..Due to unablility to keep a job i lost my house 3 times. I know what it feels like to be hungry for food, longing for a nice warm shower, being homeless and in desperate need of a save place to stay.

Today i have a home but am on the verge of losing it again, i have so many bills surrounding me that keep me from having a goodnight sleep,no food in the house for months now and am so tired of being rejected for a decent job.Everytime i turned for help around me, i end up wanted to be taken advantage off.

For years and years i have looked up to god and prayed, cried and begged for a better day with no avail.

Lord knows i never had much of anything but to whomever reads this please, please help me, if have no one to turn to but you.

Hello I have a family of 7 including my husband and I we are always up to date with our payments but our 17 year old son maxed out our credit cards and we have no way to pay our rent or bills we are desperately asking for help we need atleast some money by feb. 1st 2012 we don't know where to turn can someone please help us? we have 5 kids in total 3 of them are under the age of 5 our oldest daughter is off at college so she can't really help, and my husband has been paying a lawyer since august 2011 about a car accident he was involved in, he was t-boned on the drivers side.

I am in desperate need of help with my rent. I was up to date and doing well until I did what I've always done and transferred money to my now ex's (and father to my child) account for him to pay our bills.

A Day after I thought he had paid our bills, I came home to find his stuff gone. I then heard from my landlord to say that the rent was 2 months late. Not only was my rent late but also were my payments for gas, elec, water etc. Turns out he had taken my money that I had trusted he had paid, and run out on my son and I. To add insult to injury, I have since heard that he took my money to shack up with a 20 year old that he had been seeing behind my back for 6 months!
Also, because I willingly transferred the money, I could not get it back. Lord knows how I tried!

I have caught up as best as I can with what was left owing, but with Christmas (and not wanting to let my son down again!) I have completely run out of money. I am now left with barely enough to cover groceries.

I now owe just over £500, but my landlord is getting impatient (understandably) and I now have nowhere left to turn. I'm just so worried about losing our home.

If you can help (even if its 1p!) My son and I will be eternally grateful, and I will definitely email everyone to say thank you.
