Hello,
My husband and I graduated from our local university in May of 2010. We set out to find jobs but every place we applied was not hiring and after 6 months of this we decided to start our own business while applying for jobs as we were getting things started. Still nothing on the job front, and in February of 2011 after much planning we finally opened our own computer repair business. Business is slow going as we have only been at it for just under a year now. And we are not able to pay ourselves at all yet.

And just before Christmas of 2010 we found out we were going to have a baby. This was a big surprise as my husband has been fixed for 12 years and we have been together for 10 years with out anything happening. After getting him checked out, we verified that he is in fact able to have children and the doc didn't seem to know just how after 12 years of being fixed, that it could reverse itself.

All of these situations have come about and made it hard to pay bills, afford basic stuff like diapers for our little girl, and we are even to the point where we need another vehicle and we cannot afford to get one even though it is greatly needed so that I can get my baby to doctors appointments and WIC appointments. Also, so that my husband can still have a car to got to work and travel to customer sites.

I am looking for any donations big or small. Anything helps! I will be using the money to meet our basic needs and possibly save for another reliable car for myself and my baby.

In a nutshell- the girl I love just moved to Australia and I have to remain here in Kingston to finish my Engineering degree. I could not in any conscience ask her to not go on a life changing adventure to wait in Ontario for me.
I have worked hard and paid for everything for myself since I was 15, coming from a single income family of 5 children- I'm well aware of the value of money. I'm also aware that to pay my tuition at Queen's University I need to work all summer to afford it. I'm desperately hoping to raise some money here that I can see her as soon as possible.
I have been absolutely destroyed since she left and burying myself in school and work barely makes it passable. I am fortunate in a lot of ways. I have a job... I have a couch to sleep on until I am back on my feet... I have friends who have taken in my fur babies until I can afford to give them their own home again... but I am still struggling. I am trying to pay off the debts I accumulated in order to get home when my marriage fell apart. I stretched myself too thin this last pay period.. I tried to do too much. I needed to get a few uniform items for work, some maintenance on my car, and catch up a couple of bills... I didn't leave myself enough for food and gas... I only have to make it another week. I don't need much.. I was planning to donate plasma to make up the difference but I got sick (I work around sick people a lot, go figure) and they won't let you donate when you are sick. I've given to people in need before.. even when I could barely afford to. I've always been a charitable person... so maybe someone out there might be willing to help me in my time of need?

I'm a young female and I'm desperate in getting plastic surgery! I'm not looking to get anything like breast implants... I'm looking to get reconstructive surgery for my face. For a long time I've always wanted to get this done but never could afford it! It's not like I'm trying to look perfect or anything... this is something that I truly need! With this problem that I have I have extremely low self-esteem and still suffer from depression because of my looks.... even contemplated suicide! There are times I feel like I can't even leave the house because of how I look. Even strangers look at me and stare and make rude comments sometimes... it really hurts... especially when they don't even know me! I want to be able to work and have a normal life like everyone else, but right now it's really hard for me to do. It's easy for people to say "you should love yourself the way you are" but if you have people always reminding you how ugly you are, it's not that easy to be confident and ignore what people say. I know if I have this surgery done it will really help my confidence in a big way! I know my life will never be perfect but I know that it will be a lot better than what I'm going through right now. I'm a good person and I'm honest! I figured by coming on here and just posting what I really need it just couldn't hurt. I hate to beg or ask for help for anything because I am a very independent person. But with everything I'm going through, I just can't do this on my own! I'm even willing to do a loan. The full amount I need is now $19,000. So far someone was nice enough to help me out with $1000 towards the surgery. After being away since 1997, I've come back to care for my disabled mother. I myself have degenerative bone and disc disease of the spine. Making it impossible for me to do any of the labor. The building use to be a bar with an apartment upstairs. Due to her disabilities, she lives on the bar level. Years ago they had a porch added, which is partially cantilevered improperly. Someone installed a shower on the bar level, in the process, they cut a main beam rather than get a longer piece of pipe. I'm not able to find out when the unit was installed, but it was long enough ago that now the bar level bathrooms(yes, both mens and ladies rooms are still in there), and the apartment floors are all sloped. If memory serves me, lolly columns should stop/possibly reverse this.
The well is working when it wants to, the water runs, then shuts itself off, anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes later, it comes back on. The furnace had a burned out blower part which I'm paying the bill off, leaving less than $75 cash after covering the expenses of this building each month. And the plumber said it would be close to $200 just to start fixing the well issue. Not even knowing if it is the pump or not.
The weather here is too much for my body without access to hot water therapy. I don't know how long it will be before I can no longer handle the pain in these temps. I am rather desperate for any help at all. I'm 46, single, and have no one to help me without paying hefty fee's. This building is in dire need of repairs. If anyone could please find it in their heart to help two women that have no one to lend a hand...PLEASE HELP?

I still have not found a job and have been served eviction papers on the apartment and registered mail for the auction of my storage. Hi, I am an avid fisherman who has in the past fished all over the world, in recent years its always been for sea fish and would love to be able to come to florida and fish the flats for bonefish or permat and the bridges for tarpon and grouper and also the blue water and back country on a self drive boat.

I am a carer who used to take care of a disabled man who has a brain injury and is confined to a wheelchair,i injured my back atransfering him from his wheelchair into my car in june last year and since then have only been payed statutory sick pay, the damage to my back means i can no longer fish at home even, as i cant manage to dig worms or collect crabs from under the rocks and because of the lack of work cannot afford to buy petrol for the car to get to the coast or buy bait from a fishing tackle shop so any help will be greatly apprieciated even if it is just a few pence it all adds up thankyou again

Hi, My partner and I met on the internet and after 18 months of commuting 60 miles between homes, we decided to move in together. I was a single mother with one daughter and my partner had two daughters. As he already owned his home and I rented it was easier for me and my daughter to move. We have been living together now for 2 years, (yes all 5 of us) in a 2 bed house, as you can imagine it's tight!
At Christmas we got engaged and have started planning our wedding, We both work long hours but are both on low salaries. There is never anything spare at the end of the month so its not possible to save anything for the future.

im a 23 year old woman, married with a mortgage and a full time poorly paid job. i wouldnt do this unless i was absoultly desperate but please here my story.

ive got a special body - i was born with two uteruses and two ovaries. *great your thinking, theres no reason why she cant get pregnant*. unfortunatly i wish that was the case. each ovary is only connected to one womb. only one of my wombs has a passage for "sailors" to do their job. i also have polycystic ovaries (which means i dont ovulate without ibtervention from medication* i was told from being a teenager it would be diffuclt/ dangerous to get pregnant.

on top of that i was also born with severe kidney failure, I only have 1 working kidney and the other one is really tiny with cysts on it. My doctors estimate i will be on dialisis within 10 years if my kidney continues to fail as fast have they have. My kidney function is currently only working at 25%.

i have diabetes type 1 (insulin) and I was also born with a hereditary bones disorder called, Multipul Ephiseal Displasure. i know what your thinking, *theres no way this girl is being serious* well believe me, if could take anyone of these away i would in a heartbeat.

now despite all of this, after 3 years of trying to get pregnant i succeeded dispite what the doctors said. unfortunatly this ended in miscarriage due to my health problems. my world broke, i was depressed for months because my special sweetpea my only dream, had been taken away from me in the most horrific way imaginable.

this was 3 years ago - we still havent been caught pregnant again (bearing in mind sweetpea was nigh on a miracle). we have tried numerous methods and advice and intervention from doctors. doctors are now advising it wouldnt be safe to get pregnant again as the chanes of miscarrage are high and i would more than likely be on dialisys as pregnancy takes it toll on your whole body.. ie kidneys.

im still heartbroken after losing my little miracle and we are now looking to fund 1 round of IVF in a surrogate mum. please help me with our dream. We need roughly £5000.00 to fund the bills and without your help, it would take us roughly 10-15 years to save that amount of money up. we are desen, honest, hardworking people who are doing anything to make their dream a relaity again.

I am going through a really rough patch right now. I am afraid I will lose my home if I do not find work ASAP. I have been searching and still keep coming up with nothing. I learn quickly, however, and will do ANYTHING.

If I lose my home, I lose everything, including my 2 cats. It would be devastating to me if i lost them.

I have appled for unemployment. Unfortunately, I was out of work for quite some time since I was only going to school and before that I was living at home as a stay-at-home dad/brother/son. So basically, I do not qualify since I haven’t accumulated the ammount of hours I need. Also, in my past, I was into drugs and have a felony drug possession which bars me from so many opportunities. It was almost 6 years ago and I’ve changed a lot since then but it still haunts me. I’m starting to feel like I want to give up on life altogether. I started going back to church and cleaned my life up since then…

A few months ago, I got a job at 7-Eleven and was using that to survive on. About a month into my job, my boss called me and told me I can’t work there anymore because of my background check. Basicly got fired for the crimes I mentioned above. This crushed me. Then I found work at a restaurant and lasted there for another month. I lost that job as well because of a false accusation I had nothing to do with. I tried to speak on my defense but my boss wouldn’t hear it. This crushed me too. So, out of desperation, I looked for work again and fell into Kirby… If anyone knows what this is, they can understand I was completely scammed. They made promises of $1850/month salary. I needed to make a quota of sales to earn that. Well…. they made it impossible for me to achieve that goal by the way the company is ran. I was working 80+ hours a week. In that time, I got very sick, broke my glassses, couldn’t make it to church or my community group and everything was going down hill fast. I sold 3 Kirbys in that time and my boss says I will make a measly $75 commission total off those. I am physically, emotionally and spiritually drained because of this…

My rent was due on the 5th and I don’t have a penny to show for it. I am on bad terms with my landlord now and have no idea what to do. I’m struggling so much and feel like I’m only spinning my wheels getting nowhere.What can I do?! If I lose my home, I lose EVERYTHING, including my 2 cats which I love more than anything... I worked so hard for Kirby and got nothing but a few bucks coming to me. All my time was wasted.

What can I do? I need a “3 day pay or vacate” notice to receive any kind of rent assistance from an agency. All I want to do is to work and make money like everyone else but everything I do fails… I can’t get work that requires a background check and have no transportation or money for a bus. My home has no food either and I’m about to lose my mind.

I don’t know what else to do but BEG on this website and pray someone is generous enough to help. I know after working 80+ hours a week in Kirby in the worst conditions that I have the drive and strength to work hard. All I need is some time to find work again.

Hello, everyone I was layed off from my job in 2009. I live in an area in VA were alot of factories have shut down and alot of jobs have been lost. I was able to collect unemployment for awhile, while I looked for a job in the only field I have ever done, I was willing to take anything but there was just no one hiring in my area. My wife is disabled thanks to a drunk driver hitting her vechicle head on with his, so she has very little income coming in. We got behind on our bills. But I recently found a job were I have to commute an hour everyday. We were starting to make a little head way but were still behind on our mortgage when my truck blew up. This is our only vehicle So I have been doing my best to find a way to work. But need to get my truck fixed I am afraid I am going to loose this job because of this and then we will be in worse shape than before. If anyone out there would be will to help I would be most grateful to you. If you can spare anything it would help. Well thats my story. I hope you will help me cause I am behind on my bills and am afraid we will kicked out of our home and I will loose my job.
